Solvent Innovation acquires license from Covalent Associates to sell bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide ionic liquids in the US

Ionic liquids with the hydrophobic bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide-anion (generally known as BTA, TFSI or NTf2) are very popular due to their low viscosities, good electric conductivities and high thermal stabilites.

After we have been offering these products in Europe under a license from Hydro-Quebec for several months, we have now also acquired a license from Covalent Associates to sell these products in the United States, effective immediately. Prices for these ionic liquids start as low as 99.50 Euro/50 g, with delivery times to the United States of about 4-5 business days.
